Good Afternoon I have...

Good Afternoon I have been dealing with a company that we purchased a TCL TV. Now it had damaged pixels so they came and collected the old TV and gave us a replacement TV that was more damaged then the first one. Now after discusssions between TCL and Geeko TV the online store we purchased the damaged TV. Now TCL have agreed to give us a brand new TV and have told Geeko TV that they have a cover note/money to give us another TV. Now we have tried and tried contacting Geeko they will not answer our calls i have contacted TCL and they cant do any more than what they have done and that’s covering the cost of the new TV via a cover note/money to Geeko. It has now been 10 weeks and still no reply from Geeko all we want is one of two things our money reimbursed or a new TV. We have choice but to come to Consumer affairs because of Geeko’s behaviour can you please contact Geeko and get the issue that has been going for ten weeks regards ***** ***** Dayson Carroll

No its Geeko that have let us with nothing but a blank wall instead of a TV we paid for

Regarding the damaged pixels, you'll have a right under Australian consumer law for a replacement. What you should do is communicate in writing with this other party. Build up some paperwork between the parties by email. Then if you cannot resolve this matter amicably, then take this issue into the Victorian civil administrative tribunal.

That is what we have done for the last ten weeks via email to TCL & Geeko all we want is our money back. It’s gone well beyond the joke they don’t respond Geeko via email or phone calls enough is enough Geeko must be held accountable for lack of care or responsibility they are in Sydney and we are in Victoria and that’s the main problem if they were in our state i would drive directly to their warehouse

This is outrages we are the victims yet we are being treated even worse by a government department that is paid for through our taxes. And just to let you know there is only one wage coming into our household as I was in a serious car accident in 2014 and the TAC are without a doubt the most disgraceful government body with the way they have treated me. I want to go back to work but the TAC have no interest in helping just leave me on pain killers. I thought consumer affairs was free not kicking into the victims. I am going to take this to my local MP over the disgraceful response we have received

Your matter is a civil one and should be taken into the Victorian civil administrative tribunal. There is excellent resources on the tribunal's website that you can use to get this matter resolved.
