This happened last year at the beginning of my tenancy can I
Hi, This happened last year at the beginning of my tenancy can I still do that or is there a time limit....also as I have had many issues with them, as I said before with the investigation by the rta, and issues with water billing which I took to a dispute resolution as they still kept issuing me with an incorrect water bill, and by the time all of this went to dispute process and it took ages due to covid, they had issued me with 2 breaches....so during the conciliation i asked for the correct water invoice to be sent as well as a signed letter from both the property manager and owner, which I still have not received, and I have been issued with a notice of unresolved dispute...all of this has affected both my sons and my own health, as I had a breakdown after moving.....so now we have been issued with a to leave notice with no grounds and have to leave in August.....There has not been an issue with my rental property, and there is no reason I am being told to leave, other than persuing my rights as a tenant, and this is only part of my tenancy......I have rented for over 25 years and I have never had an issue with any real estate, always got my bond back, until I started with this real estate....please help with any advice... … read more

My question is - I have been my brother's POA since 2014 set
My question is - I have been my brother's POA since 2014 set up because he was unwell at the time and just went through a very messy divorce. He has two children. One lives in Perth (the only family member that lives there.) They have not seen each other for years. His other daughter lives in Melbourne with the rest of our family. He went into hospital a month ago and due to complications for a surgery passed away on the 30/3/20. His body is still at the hospital and I want to organise for a funeral director to collect and send his ashes back to Melbourne. He has a partner who he has only been together 2 years and she has mental health issues and is not coping with this whole situation and wants me to "take care" of everything. I went to his bank yesterday to see if he has funds for his cremation and they told me from death POA doesn't stand anymore and I need to see a solicitor. He told me a few times that his wishes were for me to make sure his 2 daughters got anything he had equally. I'm just not sure where I stand and what I can do in this situation. I am speaking to both his partner & youngest daughter daily to help sort this out. Your advice is appreciated in this difficult time. … read more
