On the 4th May 2017, I purchased an LG Washing Machine and
On the 4th May 2017, I purchased an LG Washing Machine and then on the 30th October 2017 I purchased a second LG washing machine, same model than the first one. The first machine started to fail on March 2018 still under warranty. A technician designated by LG came, requested part and fix it. The machine failed again and technicians come to check, ask for repair parts and fixed the machine on July, August and September and after that I refused to continue with the same process and requested my money to be returned. After two months of waiting was finally returned as a "shop credit", which was fine with me. The second washing machine which is the exact model started with exactly the same problems. The same technician came to see the machine on the 23rd November and informed that it has a number of problems and parts will needed to be requested so it could be fixed. I contacted LG on the 30th November just after coming out of hospital, explained the problem and requested my money refunded as I was not prepared to go another six months or so without being able to wash our cloth and having technician coming and going every months. We live in rural property and we are 67 years of age and can't be taken cloth to wash in town every time I need to watch close. LG refuses to refund my money and in three opportunities now they have told me that the machine will need to be repair. I simply cannot afford to go through this drama again, where I have to spend from 8.30 am to 8.30 pm policing the machine, turning off and on, disconnecting it from the power and praying it will work. We are just talking about $949.00, which for LG shouldn't be a problem to refund. Is there anything you can do to help me. Regards Monica … read more
