Brisbane, Qld. In November I received a letter of Allegation
In November I received a letter of Allegation from my employer, there were 11 Allegations, I had my meeting with them and I became extremely ill, and ended up in hospital as at first I thought it may be a heart attack, long story short it was stress and anxiety. I was off work for about 2.5 months. I advised my employees that I would be returning on Monday 24/02/2020. They told me to report to my Manager at 830 not 8am as my normal time of starting. I was called into her office and the HR person was in there too. She handed me their response to the allegations which was First and Final warning, any further substantiated claims may result in further disciplinary. Unbenown to me, the day after my meeting in November, there were more allegations but they could not give this until my return which was 24/02.So Hr handed me the first letter then went on and said, here is another letter of Serious Misconduct, and you are suspended on full pay effective from 24/02 pending an investigation, she said that they were still investigating but I will get a response on Tuesday 25/02 before close of business. She said that I will have to attend a scheduled meeting on Thursday 27/02 at 9am, they mentioned if I need a little time I could reschedule.Which I did today, I asked if I can make it on Tuesday 9am, they came back and said Monday 9am. I told them that I have a medical appointment, the Regional manager said to me that I have to attend on Monday as this is a paid working day, I responded once again I cannot make the appointment on Monday. Please can you give me advice on my rights, she has threatened me with my pay etc … read more
