I have some questions relating to my late father's estate.

Hi. I have some questions relating to my late father's estate. In a nutshell, my father passed away 7/3/2019. His Will stated my mother was the Executor and sole beneficiary, however they divorced many years ago but when I spoke to dad about his Will, he said he still wanted it the same. None of use realised he needed to update it solely because of the divorce. Neither my mother or father every remarried or dated and were actually still in a relationship but living separately. So, the solicitor who held my fathers Will, advised that they needed to treat it as though mum had passed prior to dad, and therefore leaving a different executor and the beneficiaries became dads 7 children. My issues are: Over the past 12mths, I have contacted the executor on several occasions asking for updates/info regarding the distribution of the estate, but he has never responded or contacted me in any way. I have contacted the solicitor several times because the executor wouldn't respond, but they won't tell me anything either. They may have been in contact with some of my siblings, but they refuse to communicate with me since dad's passing. I don't believe they were going to lodge for probate as the complete estate would be $30,000max depending on how much the executor sold dad's cars for. The whole estate was 3 cheap cars, a cheap jetski and approx $5000cash in the bank. Dad left his super to my mum which the super trustee approved. The estate is challenging that decision for reasons unknown to me. Hence, my questions below. Any information or guidance/referral you can provide would be greatly appreciated please.1. Rights of the beneficiaries?
• Communication from Executor and/or solicitor? Time frames, disclosing information pertaining to the distribution of the Estate and any costs etc.
• What happens when you can't get answers from the above?
• Do beneficiaries have a say in decisions relating to any objections/claims relating to the Estate? Eg Estate challenging the Super Trustee decision
• Reasonable legal costs incurred by the Executor?
• Reasonable costs relating to the funeral? Who decides this?
• Reasonable price paid for items purchased from the Estate by the Executor? (I believe the executor purchased one of dad's cars for himself but I don't know what he 'paid' for it. One car was gifted to one of dad's grandsons, even though there was nothing in the Will to state this should happen.)
2. Any consequences for the Executor if they cost the Estate unreasonable costs? Ie legal costs, holding onto property too long and they decrease in value or incur extra cost (re-register car)
3. Executor allowing some beneficiaries to control the outcome and decisions of the Executor?
I just want to know how I can get all this sorted as quickly as possible so I can move on with my life. It is causing a huge amount of unnecessary pain and suffering to myself, my mother and my family, As stated above, the Estate was quite small and should've been quickly and easily dealt with, within 12mths of dad's passing. I myself am a single parent who has had to leave my job due to this stress so I can't afford to pay a solicitor or my own to chase all of this up.
