What to do:
1. DO NOT MAKE A STATEMENT, just be provided with the documents in respect of the alleged breach.
Seriousness:
The charges are not that serious, it is a contact breach by mistake. Either when you saw her at the cafe / car park and when you texted a 'random' who sent you a message.
Both issues, very easily explained.
Court:
Defend the matter, both counts
1. No way knowing she would be there, when you found out she was, you left. The police with luck would have ordered the CCTV footage showing this
2. SMS - again you had no way knowing it was her texting, you asked yourself 'who was this?'
In my view, you have a good case.
The charges should be dismissed.
