Ely, NSW. I am an adult child nearly in end of my 30's
Hi, I am an adult child nearly in end of my 30's living with my parents at our residence at Western Sydney. However, our residential property we live at is legally owned by myself and my father. However, I would like to move away from my parents as the house has a domestic violence kind of situation where the father mostly verbally abuse me. He has anger issues and is very stressed. It is very hard to live them. I asked the parents to sell the property and move to another area, as the neighbours and neighbourhood is also canot be tolerated as most of the neighbourhood is verbally abusive. However, my father declined to sell the house, eventhough I offered him the full assistance to get everything done, and all he had to do was to travel to a new residence. Alternatively, I also asked my parents whether they would like to sell the house and split the payment between myself and my father. He still refused. He seems to be very adament in the way he behaves. I am a single woman, and most often when I try to lodge in alternative accommodation options people tend to discriminate me very badly, and some even try to seek ways of making the pathway to get me abused in various ways as a woman. However, still the discrimination has been mostly verbal abuse. Can you let me know what I can do in this siituation. … read more

I'm looking for professional advice. I'm in Melbourne VIC.
I'm dealing with my previous land lord. I left her property 2 month ago and went to a dispute in VCAT. The reason was because she said the conditions of the property was not right. the outcome of the hearing was for her to pay my bond back. not the total amount which I agreed. However she didn't pay my bond back and today I was confronted by her at my work place. She wanted to give some documents but at the same time yelling my employees inside the work place which is not right at all. I didn't want to receive anything from her under these conditions. So now she's saying that I am in trouble and she said she's going to take me to the high court in the next days. I don't know what to to, I don't know how to proceed and that is why I looking for professional advice.… read more
