this question relates to Queensland business. I was the owner of a cafe/antique gift shop in SE Queensland, which I purchased in Nov 2013 for $260,000 + stock. I purchased the business from a couple who maintained ownership of the building, which I then entered into a Lease for the building with them. I subsequently rebranded the business and in 2016 I put on the market for sale. The business was on the market for approx 18 months. The Lessees had become more difficult to deal with and last year they had become increasingly so to the point where in July 2018 they had cut off the water supply ( business relied on tank water supplied via a bore). I had offered them the business back in February 2018 and again in March 2018 after some difficult dealings.
