I have just sold a business in Queensland and that went smoothly however on checking through the accounts I find that the leasor has overcharged me over $250 in outgoings. When I noticed the error I pointed it out and future charges were amended but the past overcharges were never credited back. I might have picked this up earlier but my landlords presented me with annual account of outgoings ( as required by qld law) and they failed to disclose prior to signing of lease that the power to their shed was connected through my leased property. They did not contribute to meter reading fees for this service. Can I invoice them for these costs.
