Somehow they activated the plan on my other phone that I left here in Brisbane. In 2 weeks my bill went up to $750, but while there in PNG , I was unable to connect to the internet. Just text and phone calls. When I got back I called Optus and found that they were at fault. This was Friday last week. They said they'll fix my service but still haven't. Yes please. A month ago I asked if my Optus accounts could be made into one bill. The Optus person suggested a new system where my mobile, home internet etc could all be combined into one. Now I have two bills. I have been on the phone to Optus for 6 HOURS today to five different people, the last being Bella at 08 70768734 and she said that she could not cancel this new system because I agreed to it. I did not agree to a new system. They want to cancel my NBN and set up a new "mobile Wi fi" at home. I did not EVER want that and never agreed to it. I phoned two weeks ago when I received a new modem (thought was a new moden) but wasnt. I thought it very strange it had a SIM card and phoned Optus to say I didnt want a new phone system and was assured it was all ok. Now I find I have TWO bills for two broadband systems and Bella is refusing to cancel this new system off my mobile phone. All I ever wanted was an amalgamised bill and a better service. I had NO idea they were going to send me a mobile Huawei? routing system and charge me double? Please help I am a 62 year old with a disabled son, I dont understand and I cannot pay this. … read more
