My situation is I am suspended due to dermit points I thought it was due to the latest fine of which I had submitted a nominee & had the fine withdrawn but apparently it was an earlier date of which I had a family member use my car for that week as i wasn't in the state on the day of that fine. my sister had signed the nominee part & all she needed to do was post it for me a few weeks later I received another fine with extra cost I rung Vic compliance & explained that we had already submitted paperwork for the original fine I was told they never received it I asked what do I do now I was told to write to them explain your situation. Which I did, On Friday 14th August I was pulled over by the police & asked if I owned the car of which I said yes he then asked me for my licence & when he came back to talk to me he said do you now your licence is suspended I said is this because of dermit points he said yes I told him that I had it withdrawn & showed him the letter he said on their system i'm still suspended. You need to sort it out in the mean time you can't drive. I now received a Preliminary brief Statement made by In formant & have a court date 8th November 2019 … read more

I re. Last September I received a speeding fine for doing 87
Hi! Last September I received a speeding fine for doing 87 in an 80 zone. I was surprised as I was working in Roxburugh Park on the day and the fine was travelling on the ring road near Sunshine. I decided to go to court. I have received a summons to go to court on February the 7th 2018 (but I will be overseas.) Recently it occurred to me that that may have been a day, when my husband went to get a haircut and drove my car. As my husband suffered a heart attack and later a stroke, he could not remember. I have proof that I was working on the day. Am I able to withdraw from the hearing and pay the fine? I do not want to put my husband through any stress due to his condition. Could you pleaseadvise me. Thank you! … read more
