Hi, I am quite frantic. I have been separated 4.5 years (I believe divorced, though have received nothing). Up to this point, my ex-wife has been receiving 100% family benefits and child support, even though I have the children for over 50%. I have allowed this to happen because while it is happening, there is peace, and other reasons. Also, we tried for a financial settlement 12 months ag, the court said what we proposed was unjust and ineqitable. I was to get about 25%. I allowed it just to put an end to this mess, but the court said no, and the ex-wife will not hear of anything less. The reason for this enquiry and the URGENCY of it is that this morning, she said she was renting out the family home and taking the kids an hour away, nearer to her new work and her boyfriend. This means she will be taking the 5 children out of the school they have been going to all their lives : a Catholic SChool, taking them away from their friends and making it very hard for the children to see me. I was warned by her not to tell the children and convince them of my side. I found out an hour later, swhe told most of them. Two of them rang me (they are very close to me), crying, saying they wanted to stay at the school and with me: though they'd rather the situatiuon stay as it is. I told my son (aged 12), and he said he wanted to stay at the school (and with me). Two things, I have NO money sbut want to finish this. I believe I can go to court without a lawyer. More urgently, how can I stop my children being pulled out of school IMMEDIATELY. Her parenting is very poor: the current school will attest to this as will most of her family. What can I do urgently. She is already packing, and my children crying. Oh one more thing. We have an older son also, special needs. He has a job through Outlook, where he still receives his disability pension: My ex-wife, for a number of years now has taken 100% of his pension and keeps it for himself. He is dependent and this move will almost certainly jeopardise his employment, but he is too trusting, scared, simple to argue against her. He is almost 21. What can I do. This will split the family. I want my children to love both their parents, but they are being forced to take sides. Help!!
