Ltd. (HIBT) follows “Fee payment policy and procedure” to enable students to pay their course fees on time. The policy states, “HIBT will not receive from students more than 50% of their total tuition fees for a course before the student begins the course unless the course has less than one study period (i.e., one Term of two Blocks of 10 weeks each). It will not receive from students any remaining tuition fees earlier than two weeks before the start of the student’s second study period (or Term). The remaining tuition fees must be paid between two weeks before, and one working week (or five working days) after, the start of the second study period. If the student does not pay the tuition fees by due date, their COEs may be cancelled, except for valid reasons (e.g., compassionate grounds, etc.) for not paying the fees. Under those circumstances, the student can make an appeal to PEO within the 20 working days after receiving the letter from HIBT. If the student does not make any appeal by this time their CoEs will be cancelled as soon as practicable after completion of the appeal period. If the student makes an appeal, the PEO will then act on the student’s appeal and inform the student in writing about the decision, and as per his decision the student’s COEs may or may not be cancelled.”Our records indicate that you did not pay your tuition fees within 5 working days after the start of your second study period which started on 20/11/2018. Then we gave an opportunity to appeal to PEO if there were valid (compassionate) grounds for not paying the tuition fees.
