We have severe oil damage to our driveway caused by a rental
We have severe oil damage to our driveway caused by a rental car. Oil seal gave way and deposited a large amount of black oil on driveway. The company advised they would pay for clean up. However our big fear is the damage is permanent and all of the oil cannot be removed. We live in a house less than 12 months old. Apart from looking bad it will also devalue our house. Do you think the rental car company would have insurance for this type of incident. Worst case scenario we may need our driveway replaced. The oil is about half a metre wide and several metres long.
