I have a few...

I have a few questions:1) I wanted to know if I can receive income in my bank account/abn if my 485 visa has expired and I am no longer in Australia.
2) I have not filed my tax returns yet as I am confused to know how to categorize all the income and expenses as I have just been doing it from my personal account and paypal. I was told I need to get book keeping services to get my accounts right.
3) what about the income I have received in my account after leaving Australia? My tax agent only needs data from 1/7/2018- date I left Australia (27th -2-2019)
4) I am going to be getting marketing project of $100k-$150k would I have to register for GST ? Also If I receive that income in India currently where I am I would be getting heavily taxed I guess I am not sure and probably double taxed . Hence I am confused what to do and whats legal and best I should be doing to expand my company and myself?
5) Also the above budget I receive is the budget so ofcourse there is expenses out of it . So I wont be taxed on the entire figure correct?

ANSWER:

YES YOU CAN

ANSWER:

YOU NEED TO FILE YOUR TAX RETURNS. I suggest that you use an accountant to assist you.

ANSWER: YOU need to included these details in your tax returns.

ANSWER:
If you earn an income in India and also a resident of Australia you need to delcare the income in Australia through your tax return.

You will not be taxed twice.

ANSWER:

You are taxed on the taxable income only.

I have to re ask my question no 4 :I am no more a resident of Australia . I have left Australia for good and have moved back to India .Now I need to provide an invoice which is going to be above $100k as marketing budget to a client .
I have not been including GST in my invoices as I have not crossed $75k .
But after issuing this invoice I will cross the $75k so would I have to include GST on the same invoice ?New question :6) Not being a resident of Australia anymore I still can operate my business through India correct ?

Yes you need to include GST and remit that to the ATO.

But if the transaction is not occurring within the Australian Legal jurisdiction you do not need to collect or remit GST as you are not bound by the Australian laws.

The transaction would be coming in my Australian bank account whilst I would be in India.
So what should I do ? Sorry for asking a similar question again but I just want to be clear on what’s right and what I should be doing
