Thanks Pearl. We have an issue with AGL. SA. None, just
None, just studying the bills. here is the story. The Summary of our findings are therefore as follows. AGL made the following errors.1. Severely under-estimated our consumption in the July 2019 bill.2. Issued differing statements for the October 2019 bill.3. Informed us that they owed us over $1400 for the July 2019 bill.4. Paid us $371.06 even though, according to their calculations, they did not owe us anything, but rather we owed them.5. Issued conflicting statements for the January 202 bill again.6. Claimed that they owed us $958.94 for the October 2019 bill even though, according to their calculations, they did not owe us anything, but we owed them.7. In all cases of these errors, AGL did not endeavour to explain to us these errors. On our part, we submit that:1. We have endeavoured to pay our bills always on time.2. We have also paid AGL $436 (19 of July 2019) even though we did not have a bill requiring such an amount, but simply by our own initiative and obligation to pay for the electricity we use, and to manage our account with AGL debt-free, by anticipating possible future charges.3. We have reached out to AGL and have been given misleading information, that AGL owed us even thought, according to AGL's calculations, that was not true.4. We have also actively reached out to AGL to explain the conflicting messages from them to us, even though AGL did not make the effort to explain themselves. … read more

AGL, charged me over $600 For my electricity bill. I live in a 2 bedroom unit. I rang to ask for a payment plan and to question why it was so much. They were very helpful, they admitted to changing my meter and had done an estimate. They would send someone out to read the meter and send me a new bill. However this did not happen and they took the money out of my account (interrupting my rent payment!). I rang on Saturday evening when I realised something had happened and told them to ring me to sort this out. I feel, of course they won't ring me they have their money. I am so upset and feel they have taken me for a ride. My question is .. Can I get my money back and still have a proper reading done from my electricity meter? Thank you … read more

We have had our power provided as Mojo Power since Oct 2016.
We have had our power provided as Mojo Power since Oct 2016. The average monthly bill has been around $260. In July we received a bill for almost $700 - nothing had changed in our household at all. Enquiry from Mogo and we were told that their "estimates" had been off previously and they were simply "making true" our account as we had been previously undercharged. Our next bill in August was $360 which we assumed was our new "normal". Our bill for September has just arrived and it is in excess of $800. This is our monthly bill -our usual quarter averaged around $900. This is absurd and is really creating financial hardship for us as we are unable to estimate our electricity costs. Do we have any option to demand an explanation? This seems terribly unfair - they are just charging us anything they want and they charge a monthly subscription fee to "guarantee" the lowest rates! … read more
