[Second opinion] hi pearl i have a car problem with my ex she took a carloan lout through a dealship in nsw for me as i couldnt at the time and our verbal agrement was i would make all the payment which i have and rego costs now ive moved to vic she got real nasty and is black mailing me to pay more money to her and if i dont shes taking the car what can i do or am i entiled to what ive paid her for the car

She keeps calling my place of employment and says horrible things about me to them and its impacting on my employent how can i stop this and also sends multiple degrading text messages this is all affecting me phycalogicly to the point where im thinking of getting counciling
You are going to have to draft a very detailed statement and have it ready to take her to court.
The statement should set out what the agreement was and that she is only holding the car as trustee for you and that you are the true owner and you are paying the loan and the interest.
If she decides to take action the you have to fight her and the statement will be the start of your defence.
If she is making threats to get more money, if they are in writing then you can take them to the police and report her and show then the statement you have prepared and also the evidence that you are paying for the car.
She is extorting money form you and this is against the law.
If the police do nothing you have no other option than to take this to court. If she wants the car back then you can demand she repays you what you have paid into her account.
You have options but you have to be prepared.
Do not threaten her with anything but make sure what she does is documented and if she threatens you on the phone document the date time and exactly what was said and reply in writing confirming what she has said and dispute her allegations and refuse to give her money.
This way if she replies and does not deny it but says more your case is stronger.
But you have to start to prepare yourself to sue if you have to.

Hi I have just moved from Ballart Vic to Seelands via Grafton NSW. We engaged a removalist in Supercheap intersate removals. They gave us a quote & we supplied them with an inventory list as best we knew. not knowing how many boxes would be involved. They came back & said we needed a 30 Cubic meter truck. before they came to get our goods at Ballarat we sold the dining table 6 chairs & a couch out of the inventory. we packed the whole house into the garage and made all very convenient for the removalist. We had to leave for Grfton NSW before the removalist got to the house. They said they would get to Ballarat on Saturday 29th June & we would have delivery Monday 1st July. They were advised we needed all the furniture boxes & other household items out of the garage. Saturday when the removalist got thier we got a phone call to say they could not fit all our belongings on their truck & they were leaving a substantial amount behind. I had a strong conversation with them but eventually agreed to another $1100 to go back & pick up the rest of the goods the following Saturday.
