He is entitled to compensation but he has to make sure that he has reported it and there is a record of it.
Also he has to have medical evidence of the assault and the forced oral sex.
the prisons have an obligation to protect your son particularly if he's intellectually disabled the duty of care to him is far greater than the average person in prison.
His solicitor that is representing him in these charges should also be able to give you more detailed advice about how to proceed to get compensation for this assault.
But he needs to report and have the defendant is charged in order to be able to claim under victims compensation.
The other alternative is to sue the prison for breaching the duty of care to ensure that he is in a safe environment.
