About a month ago a car locked me in a park between another
About a month ago a car locked me in a park between another car. They were parked in a no standing zone and tried my best to get out of the park. I acidently hit the front of the car. It was minor a small piece of plastic came off the grill. The man who was driving car was in a cafe and came out and we exchanged details. it was a hire car he was driving. The insurance company got in contact with me and I explained that he was parked illegally and the man on the phone was aggressive towards me and making inappropriate remarks on my driving and parking. They want me to pay $600 for a small bit of plastic coming off the grill even though the man was parked illegally and locked me into my park. I have experienced nothing but aggression and intimidation from fleet claims insurance and I'm wanting to know my rights in this matter.
