He has to notify Centrelink and if he is away longer than 6 weeks they will stop his pension.

If he goes to a country where we have an agreement he will continue getting the pension.

But he has to speak to centrelink about this and get everything in writing.

He will need evidence of his brothers illness and they can assess him about having the pension sent overseas if he plans to be away for a longer time.

But it will be affected.

He has to speak to Centrelink and complete what he has to so that he can receive the pension.

It will be less than he gets here but it is only for 2 years after tat he loses it.

He has to speak to them and get the application done and approved before he goes but he cannot stay overseas longer than 2 years.
