Hi, I currently have finance through a peer to peer lender and am paying a huge amount of interest on a currently unutilised line of credit, I sent through an invoice for a progress payment for work that has been completed, which has been inspected by the client, the finance company have advised me that they won't provide me with the funds for the invoice, even though the client has approved the invoice and has said it is not in dispute, this was not the contract terms I agreed to, the invoices as supposed to be paid on work completed, they are saying it has to be payment on a job that has been delivered. I need the funds in my bank account so that I can continue to work on the job and deliver in the second week of march.

Not yet, I am not sure I can do anything, the CEO of the company is a practicing barrister and seems to make the rules up as he goes

I am a small business owner, this is the biggest contract I have ever secured for my business, the clients are Optus and Custom Fleet, I believe I have been a victim of unfair contract terms which are hindering the progress of my project and the operation of my business.

do you have a copy of the contract you can upload ?

I have several contracts, they keep changing them and are very incompetent, my accountant believes they have overcharged me for interest and have been asking for an itemised account for the past two weeks which still has not been supplied, I will send you through a copy of the document signed this morning, the email that accompanied it said that they would process payment once the document was signed and the client had accepted that the invoice was not in dispute, the client accepted the invoice and I signed the document, then I received an email saying they weren't going to pay me and that they would only pay my suppliers directly. Please see attached contract signed this morning and a screen shot of the email I received.
