Under a verbal tenancy agreement without contract or bond, but with rent paid up to date, tenant given notice to quit, no reason offered. What recourse does tenant have?

No actual lease documentation, verbal only. Residential with a couple of grazing acres, house wish sheds.

as there is not fixed term agreement, your tenancy is a month by month arrangement

the landlord can issue notice to vacate with reasonable time in accordance with the legislation.
