What is the issue?
Because it is more than 10 years old you do not have any statutory warranty.
As there was a fault when you purchased it, is the fault the same?
Good Morning
Do you have anything in writing about the fault and that they would fix it at the time of the purchase?
As it is older than 10 years there is no stautory warranty.
But if they agreed to repair it as part of the sale and they have not then you have rights under the contract. They have breached the contract and you can take them to court to get it fixed or pay you for the cost of the repair.
You will have to get a quote from an independent mechanic and sue for that cost.
It is a matter that you would take to QCAT
