I wanted to ask a legal question. Qld. I had to let it go it
Hi just wondered my mum recently passed a year ago. Her lawyer was also my brother's lawyer hes a huge business man. I was her carer and when she passed they had to do a probate. Isnt that when someone owes money it should be put into the will? They never made him do it and he became angry and refused to pay his loan back $105000. It was an interest only loan the money was to be paid back in full this year. He bullied us into letting him off the contract or he attempt to go after mums house and she left it for me as I was a carer over 12 years. We were in such a mess and other lawyers said he was to rich to fight. Our will lawyer gave us no advice at all and wouldnt tell us about probate. Can u tell me should the loan have been handed in as we were a mess and gave up. Thank you. It's been a horrible year… read more
