Hi. Pearl. I'm actually just looking around some issues regarding a Game Company's Code of Conduct. they continuously mute me, whilst failing to uphold genuine "Torts" against their policy.
JA: What state are you in? And is a local attorney or other consumer protection advocate helping with this?
Customer: I'm Canadian, and as it sits. this company is in Australia... I've come to understand that there is common law outside of jurisdiction, however. The issue comes with joking. I'd have no issue with this claim if it was just a matter of me getting muted as a "pipe down" gesture. But I"m watching people talk about raping monkies and giving them aids, and they get *nothing*
JA: Have you contacted the manufacturer?
Customer: Yup. "Take it up with support."... except you can't. Because the dude who runs support is the one who muted me. hah.
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: I think that's pretty much it. Keep studying, you're doing great :)
