I have a problem, I was referred by my doctor to Fiona

I have a problem, I was referred by my doctor to Fiona Stanly Hospital in Perth as I had a very fast growing SCC cancer on my forehead. It was marked urgent as he was concerned it was growing to quick. It was referred to the plastics department as it needed to be done now. After a week had heard nothing so went in there. They had not recieved, but when they started looking, their admin department had not forwarded it to them. There was no one avaliable, but before I could be seen I had to attend an appointment in Dermatolgy department in their hospital to refer me back to them. I attended the appointment 2 days later and it was referred back to Plastics who then made an appointment in 4 weeks time. I turned up for the appointment only to be told they had made it a week earlier while we were overseas. I tore off the plaster in reception to show them it had become as big as a golf ball and was ulcerating. They finally had a doctor see me who took photo's and organised an operation within 30 days. I said at the time it needed to be done now. Next thing I find out the appointment is 45 days. I blew up and went back again and another surgeon saw me. He advised it needed to be done and bought the surgury back a week. At that stage he said there was nothing to worry about as it was not growing internally. I again said I was concerned. He ordered a MRI to be done before surgury which was done 2 days before the surgury. Finally turned up for the surgury (4 months after I had first gone to my doctor with the problem (with all the adds running on early detection saves lives)). Anyhow waited 6 hours and was finally in pre op ready to go in. The surgeon came out and advised what he was going to do, cut the skin cancer from my forehead and then take skin off my arm for the head. I said fine. I then said the MRI results how did they go. Oh shit forgot to look, be back soon.10 minutes later he was back to advise that the operation was canceled as the cancer was now through to the bone, his last bit of advise was that I should make sure all my affairs were in order. They booked some urgent tests for the next day so that they could be presented to the surgeons meeting on the Monday and a decission would be made. The Monday night the assistant rang to advise all the results had not been recieved, so would be delayed for anther week. Anther week went by and still noanswer so I went in there. Spoke to some young doctor who basically said they had for got and advised the next meeting was in 2 weeks, but booked another test. I still have head nothing and for what was a simple SCC removal has now turned into a death sentence. What can I do'

Are we entiled to some sort of compensation, so depending on how long I have and the amount of time I have left that I can actually work, at least have some sort of remaining life
