Lawyer's Assistant: What is your official status? Do you have any pending applications or petitions with USCIS?

My enrollment has been cancelled due to late arrival, I wanted to know if I could do something in this situation

Lawyer's Assistant: Has anything been filed or reported?

The university said the department of immigration has been notified

You have to enrol for the next intake. You cannot arrive late.

Have you asked them if they will accept you in the next intake?

they told me that the confirmation of enrollment (COE) has been cancelled and in order to take admission in future I will have to apply as a normal student. My question is whether my visa is already affected and what are my possible options ?

You have to contact the department and advise them of what happened. My understanding is that you need to have a COE to be able to have a student visa.

The department will advise you about this and they can be lenient.

They may allow you to remain and start later and get another COE. But I cannot say if they will or not you have to contact them direct.

You should have called the department the minute you knew it was cancelled and let them know and been in control.

Only the department can tell you what they will do. I am only guessing.

You will have to give them an explanation why you did not comply with the rules and were late and how they feel about this will affect their decision.
