The issue is whether you can prepare and sign a statutory declaration that he is one and the same ans the person in his birth certificate and in the will.
If you can confirm this you will not have any issues.
Also if you have evidence of government documents such as drivers licences pension cards etc with the name Charles Sydrick Brown you can also certify that this is the name he has used and never used the name on his birth certificate.
The solicitor that prayed his will can assist you with this.
