Morning. .. I was wondering what steps I need to do in relation to breaking a court order for visitation because I suspect child abuse /neglect
JA: Because family law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: Qld
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: My daughter took my granddaughter to police today and they took photos. They have been told that a detective will get in touch tomorrow or Tuesday
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?

You have to make an application to the court to have it set said. If you down and you breach it then you will be back before the court and penalised.

The other parent can apply for an order against you.

If you suspect abuse you should also report it to the police and also the department of childrens welfare.
