How do I make a complaint against an insurance companies findings against a Home claim I have made. Can I complain through the Ombudsman
JA: Because real estate law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: Victoria
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: I have lodged a claim but I am not satisfied with the offer they have made
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?

Yes you can lodge a complaint through the ombudsman but it is best to wait until you have had a refusal of the claim and had the internal review process go through with the insurer.

If they have not refused but have just delayed you can threaten them with the complaint.
