What does your contract say about the time to get started the build?
Did it set out an estimated date for the land to be released?
I get the impression that since signing the contract the cost of the build has increased since you quoted.
These are the increases in fees I am talking about.
Does the contract have a termination clause in it that will allow you to back out?
