So the vehicle was sold from a dealer, the dealer must repair the vehicle to a standard to it being roadworthy.
The dealer must first be given the right to repair the vehicle, not just give them the money back.
- There is no law about that requirement, however it has been a long standing requirement for courts / fair trading to allow that avenue before.
The dealer is in the business of selling vehicles. Clearly they MUST have known that the vehicle was faulty and or should attend to remedy the situation.
