Customer Question

Is an employer allowed to ask (I need someone who is committed to being here for the next 4/5 years and I noticed you have just got married so what are your plans as far as having kids goes? He asked this in a meeting in front of other people resulting in my wife to quit as we feel when we decide to have a family no employer should be the judge of that.

Are you saying your wife's boss said this to her and as a result she quit?

If so did the boss threaten her with any action before she quit or tell is what you quote everything he said before she quit?

How long was she employed there, and what was her role?

How long ago did this happen?
