It shouldnt be this hard.
It is a matter for her, but I would strongly suggest cancelling all finances and have whatever she has paid in instalments paid back to her.
They have frustrated the contract. In English, they stuffed around so much, that the contract has issue and they have not abided by their side of the bargain, with delay and a vehicle that needs to be painted.
If they do not agree, then contact fair trading have them intervene.
With respect of loss of work and general annoyance etc, although it is upsetting you need to claim hardship and loss. I trust that your wife and daughter did not lose any money with waiting there, however if so, then you can claim that to .
You didnt pay for a car that needed to be painted.
They either have to give you a new car immediately or refund the monies.
