I sold a go cart motor on ebay and after 2 weeks buyer says…

Well here is the problem ...i sold a motor on ebay and had it listed as damaged and with pictures.the buyer had motor for at least 3 to 4 days after transit from Vic to WA ive manage to guesstermate.Plenty of time to tamper with it in my opinion, then cries out to ebay its stuffed ,they converse with me via emails as to buyer does for a return of money to buyer $290 as thats what he paid ...So this is where it gets to all the drama..Ebay send me a email stating a return address for buyer to send it back and contact buyer or let them know of it ,but i replied stating i said no returns in policy and no dont want it back as i believe his tampered with it due to i know that motor was in running order once it left my hands ...they said no case is closed and pay up practically ,so i was like wtf ,so i sent back ok then i will only reimburse him the winning total of $255 and send it back to me then seems case is so called closed ...here it is ,they gave me 5 days from 1st email about the case closed and to contact buyer so i tried buyer via sms to no avail, until last week when he told me in reply that he been ill and in and out of hospital hence the late reply { yeah bullshit } and that Ebay told him to through it out,also i contacted at same time Ebay and guess what ,Ebay took 3 precious days off my countdown to extinction of $290 to reply to late you didnt respond in time to us or the buyer so stiff shit...so clearly im not at fault here as even 3 of their support staff agreed on the phone to me but cant do nothing about it as its in the protocol that i took over 5 days to facilitate a return address .Hence its was no responding buyer and Ebay dragging there feet which was the problem and then i got no motor and paid for it to be gone w.t.f...by the way the support staff all agreed on phone to me that yes Ebay have made a mistake here and that they are under pump with complaints and cant get back to every one straight away ..,but cant do nothing about this as its just what it is ....w..t.f again cmon....But since then i contacted Ebay 1 more time and Willy from support team is pushing it further as my answer was to them that im in contact with you about this { not you personally } and that i think this must happen alot under the table as they are so under pump mfrom complaints as i was informed by Willy V a support member added...So i think you might have a big case here against a global giant perhaps as stated to them numerous times that a single father of two kids clearly in the right and $290 is alot of $ to him ,who is up against a global giant Ebay and they admit in the wrong too but still want to contest this ...shame

no via phone call but i can get them to email me that perhapsemail it to me that they told him to do what he wants with it or throw it out i will try to get them too but i only was told it buy buyer and call staff x 2....if they wont do it what can be done
