Do you have orders with the court for where the children live?
As their father unless the family court has taking away your parental responsibility, you will have the children.
If the grandmother decides to take action and seek residency than this is what you have to deal with but she is your mum.
It automatically goes to you to look after them. Unless there are court orders.
