Aggravated burglary simply means he used a weapon in the burglary, it doesn't refer to others who helped him in the burglary. Hopefully soon he will be released on bail unless he pleads guilty to the offence at his first appearance. Assuming he pleads not guilty and is released on bail, then I recommend he see a criminal lawyer straight away.
A criminal lawyer will be able to negotiate with the police prosecutor to have the charges reduced in what is called a plea bargain.
