I'm a old lady and I find it hard to understand modern technology so I have gone to the Telstra shop a lot a couple of times Telstra would not help me because l didn't have my drivers license to show them but I did have my iPad and Telstra bill. When l had a bill query Telstra would say it has nothing to do with us ring billing which could take me from 1hr on the phone the staff at Telstra convinced me to pay and join their platinum club so when I had a query there would be no charge Just recently I signed up for a new I pad and pencil my internet provider is Telstra I wanted unlimited data but the bill was so high l Again went to Telstra l could only reduce my bill $15 and I can't go to Optus because l am locked in for 2 years Now I was bill … read more

Deborah. We have an issue with Lumo Energy. We live in
We live in Victoria. We had a rental property in Scoresby. The tenants moved out in September. In october we wanted to do some imporvements prior to sale that required electrivity. My husband rang Lumo requesting an electricity connection. the salesperson offered him a gas connection as well which was not needed or used. We received a gas bill in Nov for $30+ dollars and another in Feb for $121. When I queried this, saying that no gas had been used i was told this was a service charge. Several phone xonversations later, one promising it would be resolved have resulted in further bills now for $151 and threats of debt recovery. Because my husband agreed to the gas although he did not request it, we are told we are liable for the ever increasing amount, despite the fact we sold the property and it was settled in February. We have happily paid the electricity bill for the service we requested and used, but I really dont see why we should pay for a service offered to us that wasnt used at all. Please advise … read more
