re Separation agreement and Consent Order. Say sep date is 1.7.13 - are assets and liabilities figures at that date applicable or is it the date of the actual signing of the agreement - say e.g. today?
Good Afternoon

My name is XXXXX XXXXX I am a NSW Solicitor. Thank you for your question, and will do my best to assist you with your question.

The actual assets and liabilities that are noted in the application for consent orders or in the separation agreement are as at the date that they are being completed.

So if the application or separation agreement is prepared on the 30 March 2014 the assets and liabilities listed and their values will be as at the 30 March 2014. The date you sign is not relevant it is the date you complete the document.

You do not backdate them.

Does this make sense
