hello my name is XXXXX XXXXX need legal advice on an acdient i had about a month ago, the other lady said she is holding my responsibe for damages and i feel i was not in the wrong at the time, police were not called to the incident.

As I approached the round about at around 5.30am I slowed down to a stop with my foot on the break to see around the fence on the outside of the round about on my right, as I went to take my foot off my break I had something hit my car and all I sore was a person over my bonnet, as my foot was still on the break I put my car into park and put the hand break on and turned my car off. I ran over to the women to see if she was ok and called 000. The woman was ok and she told me she was fine, all that was visible was a graze on her leg. 2 other people that were passing at this stage stoped to see if we needed assistance. after talking to 000 they informed me that she should not move I then told the women that she was not meant to move but she insisted that she was fine and that she can stand up and walk, I enforced that 00 said she shouldn’t move but she wanted to anyway. We helped her up and she walked over to the middle of the round about and stood to wait for the ambulance. As the ambulance arrived so did her husband and my father, she told her husband and me that she was fine and there was no reason to worry. As we were all talking she informed us that she was trying to reach 60km an hour and that she had no safety light on the front of her bike {I am aware that the speed in the street was 50km hour}. She informed the ambulance that her head was a little sore but they couldn’t find a mark, and they took her back to the hospital to dress her leg where the graze was, as she was helped into the ambulance she informed me not to worry about anything and that she was fine. My father and I helped her husband put the bike into the back of his Ute and he also told me that she was fine and that I shouldn’t worry.
On further inspection on my car she hit me on the right panel on the right side of my car which caused a rather large dint with a small amount of loss paint with a slight crease in the panel.
