Thank you for reply. Mediation has been set up for this month, as has been on previous occasions, they have stalled, evaded and allowed months to pass to continue their work, whilst we sit and wait in hope, we have done everything so that they could not say we are unfair, etc

I fear that a large industry as this feels they are above the law and have made it clear that they usually get their way. As I mentioned we are a minority but I believe that we deserve at least the basics in life, fresh air, sleep at normal hours, some quiet time, the dust, noise and pollution is incredible. My greatest fear is that they do have great power, and the finance to drag out any court case in which we would be left without finance and perhaps a home. The stress has caused my husband to have heart surgery, this happened a day after we had a meeting with the this industry in 2011, they treated us nothing better than dirt, a meeting in which we anticipated that we could agree to have some quiet time, they simply bullied us. I am afraid that the justice system would be more inclined to be on their side than to worry about a handful of people.

Yes, we have spoken to our solicitor, 10 months ago, this industry sent our solicitor a confidentiality contract for us to sign in regards XXXXX XXXXX purchase of our property, our solicitor did not allow us to sign this as it was basically a gag on us, that we were not to speak of the conditions we live in, etc no mention of purchase, etc

Our solicitor has replied that we need to mediate if not then we go to court, they agreed but with each month passing they are accepting less and less of our terms, one was to have our mediator present, they refused, the conditions have not lessened and as I have mentioned the only change is that the workers have proceeded to be abusive and trying to harm us on public roads, this is so difficult because it is a large industry, again, my fear is that however we proceed my family would be in some danger, these kind of things I believed only happened else where or on movies, we are absolutely stunned that this is one of the ways they have chosen to intimidate us.

My greatest fear, is that all court procedures would go on forever as this industry has done everything possible to avoid any responsibility or take action, everything is dragged on from one year to the next, if we went to court this is how they would behave, finding many loopholes to avoid confronting us or the courts, this costs time and money which they have in abundance

Again, thank you for your advice, we have been advised basically the same, I just needed to know that I have covered all avenues available

I did not mention, that this industry was involved recently in a court case, in which they lost, it was in the media.
