Verified Is there is any way that I can use the mistake on the offence code for stop loosing my demerit points.
You can if you plead not guilty and take the matter to trial, because then it will be on the police prosecutor to figure out what the correct offence code was, and if he can't, then the Magistrate is likely to dismiss the charge.
However, if the police prosecutor has the officer's notes with him at trial, then that won't pose a problem. They will just correct the error and then proceed with the trial.
