Under the Consumer Laws you have a right to a replacement or refund if the goods are not fit for the purpose. What you have described is a faulty vehicle and does not meet the standard you purchased it for.

Specific lemon laws for cars do not exist. They come under the general law and you can claim a refund or a replacement car.
It is unfortunate that the dealer is doing what they are.
You can also threaten to take them to the media about the quality of their cars.
You have a right to get your money back or a replacement car.
