No, it doesn't. If the two of you are joint owners, then when she passes away, her share of the property will automatically go to you (regardless of what she wrote in her Will).
But you might want to keep that to yourself, because while she is alive she can transform the ownership from a joint tenancy to a tenants in common ownership. If she does that, then her share in the property does get dealt with in accordance with her Will.
