Verified we are wondering what the law is on visitation rights for a new born
If there are no Court orders in place, then your daughter gets to decide how much contact time he gets. In cases where the mother didn't allow any contact time and the father went to Court to get some, the Courts have generally awarded 6 hours on both Saturday and Sunday until the child reaches age one, at which time contact time gets increased.
But for now, if she allows time every weekend for the father to see his child, that should be sufficient.
