What was the reason that the mother handed over her child to the welfare system?
When your son was given the child, had he gone through court process?
Has your son filed an application for recovery order against the child's mother?
Do you believe that the child's mother and your sons father have the child?
Good Morning,
Her abandoning the children as she has can be used against her in court.
The fact that their grandfather was violent against the children and also the grandmother locked the child away, in connection with the fact that they forcibly took the child will go against them in court.
Your son has a pretty good case but it will take time and hopefully in the interim orders before the matter goes to full hearing the child is returned to his father.
Other than what I have told you there is very little else I can provide you with.
I believe your son has a good chance of getting his son back as the actions of the mother and grandparents will go against them.
