I'm facing a divorce and have few question to ask, No assetsI'm trying to do my divorce with minimal lawyer involvement as I (the divorce initiator) have no money. We don't have children or materially high-value assets. We just rent a house together (just moved back together trying to fix things) and now I'm willing to move out but my husband wants me to keep paying rent even after I moved out on the amount that I did not agree. He wants me to pay 50% for my room which only half size his room (the unit has only 2 bedrooms) or ask me to find a replacement which he has to agree, to rent the place for the same price which I don't think I can find. What is the best possibility to get out from this situation?, can he forced me to pay half of the rent until the end of the lease? The amount of our superannuation is almost matched each other, What amount can he get from my superannuation shall he sue for it? When can he get it? after I reach pension age? or do I have to pay him now? can he sue me for my future superannuation as it is potentially will be bigger? I formed a company with him, which he never pay any deposited capital, the company has no project or asset. The company only existing shell. I paid for the formation cost he has no contribution financially or non financially towards that company except for his time coming to the bank to give signature when we open a bank account for that company. Can he sue me based on the potential value of that company or get a valuer to value that company and make me pay the cost of that valuer just for the sake of giving me some expense to pay? Who has to pay the valuer? us or only him? I have another company that I solely own. The company has no assets other than a couple of websites and few domain names. Can he sue me based on the potential value from a valuation again? If I develop the domain names into the websites in the future and they grow big, can he sue me in the future for a share of that? The domain names are ***** ***** idea and he has no financial contribution of paying for registration of that domain names. As my understanding, he cannot sue or have anything to do with my property which I already owned long before marriage in another country? he has no financial or non-financial contribution to that property while he still with me. Is this true? Can he make me pay his CC card? He argues that the balance in his CC card is because he has to pay for repairs of "our" car. The Credit card is under his name only, and he uses it sometimes for his personals. The CC card is being paid from our joint account from which we both contributed a certain amount of money. the car is under his name only, the debt/ financial lease of that car is under both of our names. He wants the car (under his name only) being re-evaluated and we calculate the difference between the value and the remaining debt (under our names) and split the difference. I have to pay half of the difference. Is this ok? I don't really want to pay anything towards his belonging. I bought a lot of household stuff/furniture and willing to leave them all. I don't want the household stuff to be divided. I told him to either take ownership of them all or reject them all. I don't want the fuss of the valuation and split them and I don't want him to dump me the stuff he doesn't want and just take the stuff that he needs/ expensive to buy. Can I do this? I also don't want him to use the household as a tool for me to rack up in removalis expenses or charging me rent in the future because of the items occupy a space. Can he do this? Can he sue me for expenses that I usually pay towards our lifestyle such as holiday? rent for a better house? in the past I'm the major earner and payer for our relationship but now we earn equally the same. How am I supposed to do this divorce? all I know is I have to get my affidavit, which basically a compilation of reasons why I want to be divorced from him (is my understanding of affidavit correct?) and a witness affidavit that we are separated under o … read more
