They are liable to replace it at their own cost, and there must be a separate document in relation to the Sunna 3000TL inverter.
All products come with a warranty, and there is also implied warranties under the trade practices act.
The party that came installed the Inverter should have come and giving you a receipt as well.
it is obvious from what you are telling me that the inverter is faulty and not suitable for the purpose and they must Replace it.
You can contact the ACCC or the OCBA in South Australia and lodge a complaint.

You also have arrived if you decide to take the matter to court to seek compensation for the loss of revenue due to their delight to repair or replace the inverter.

I have recently put a 6.6kw solar system on. I had solar put
I had solar put on recently. I'm in QLD. I had a contract price of $4990. The contract was with a Fronis inverter and 22 300w panels with a freed in price of 11c per KW. They installed 20 330w with a ABB inverter. Fronis inverters are the top of the inverter. Far superior than the ABB inverter. I found out today that I am only getting 7.842c as a feed in tariff. I paid the deposit of $500 with the balance due on completion of installation. They sent me a invoice for $3990. When I went to pay for it as per contract they said that made a mistake and then a revised invoice for $4490. Because they had my bank account details they took $4490. I was under the assumption the first invoice 3990 was because of the cheaper inverter. I will be loosing 3.158c pr KW. I will at a loss of quite amount of money over a 10 period. A the moment I am producing 44 Kw per day. Is this worth pursuing????? … read more
