As such the tax is the liability of the directors.
By deregistering the company you have not finalised its debts.
Also I have concerns about the trustee of the trust. Once the company was deregistered another trustee should have been appointed.
You need to speak to your trustee in bankruptcy about this as the GST is the directors liability. You have to amend your bankruptcy to include the GST.
If the GST is liability from the Trust then the Trust has to pay it.
You need to speak to an accountant about how this was all run because the ATO may be ale to access any assets in the trust.
