I spent almost 4k on a set of professional JBL speakers
Hi I spent almost 4k on a set of professional JBL speakers which failed during normal use within 2 years. It had a 5 year warranty. Retailer passed the returned product to manufacturer appointed repairer who advised product had burnt coils and was abused by over during it.The product had overload protection but still failed. Nevertheless we agreed to pay over 1k for the repairs if we get provided with requested technical information regarding the repairs for us to track product integrity should it prematurely fail again. The manufacturer JBL refused its appointed repairer such information. The retailer has now given us a short deadline of a few days to either pay for repairs or the product will be returned with us to pay a hefty bill for the inspection and courier. What can we do here?
